How to make money with an AI influencer
The realistic routes, what each one needs, and the order most accounts try them in.

An AI influencer earns money the same way a human creator does: through attention that someone is willing to pay for. The difference is in cost and speed. You can post daily without a camera, but you still need an audience that trusts the account. Here are the routes, roughly in the order accounts tend to reach them.
Results vary widely by niche, posting consistency and audience. Nothing here is a promise of income.
1. Promote your own products
If you already sell something (a store, an app, a course), this is the fastest route because it doesn't depend on anyone else's budget. Your influencer can demo the product, hold it in lifestyle shots and front UGC-style ads, at a fraction of what you'd pay to brief and ship to human creators.
2. Affiliate links
Affiliate programmes pay a commission on sales you refer. They work best when the product fits the niche naturally: a skincare routine account linking the products it uses, a desk-setup account linking the gear. Disclose affiliate links clearly in every post.
3. Brand deals
Brands pay for reach and fit. What they look for in an AI account is the same as in a human one: a clear niche, a consistent face and tone, regular posting and engaged comments. Be upfront that the influencer is AI. Some brands specifically want that, others won't work with it, and hiding it is a fast way to lose both.
- Keep a simple media kit: niche, audience, average views, three best posts.
- Offer packages (one video plus two stories) rather than single posts.
- Agree usage rights in writing: where the brand can reuse the content, and for how long.
4. Sell UGC to brands
Some brands don't want your audience at all, only the content. You can produce UGC-style ads with your influencer and sell them as assets the brand runs from its own account. This route doesn't need followers, but it does need a portfolio of convincing examples.
5. Subscriptions and communities
Once an account has a loyal following, paid tiers (exclusive posts, behind-the-scenes, early access) become possible. Keep content within each platform's rules, and within your tool's content policy. Supermodel is safe-for-work only.
6. Referral programmes
If people ask how you make your content, a referral link turns that question into income. Supermodel's referral programme pays 30% of what referred customers pay for their first 12 months.
The routes above all start the same way: one consistent influencer and a steady posting rhythm.
